About Griffin Myers

Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Oak Street Health, Griffin Myers, is an emergency physician, entrepreneur and emerging voice in healthcare innovation and value-based care. He was previously a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. Griffin has a BS from Davidson College, an MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and completed his residency in emergency medicine at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General and Brigham & Women’s Hospitals. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and an Adjunct Instructor of Emergency Medicine at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.

About This Idea

Oak Street Health is a network of primary-care centers for people on Medicare with an innovative model of care that is focused on keeping patients healthy and out of the hospital. They build relationships between their patients and their doctors and care teams, and invest in giving their patients better access to care.
